In the evenings there were discussions about art, during which the students worked on their landscapes, as well as portraits (which were later given away as a keepsake), and on polishing up their skill.

After all the lessons finished, the School
organized an overview and an exhibition
of the paintings.

The teachers who instructed the painting classes represented the Commonwealth of Artists of Russia and the UNESCO International Commonwealth of Artists: Natalya and Valery Cherkashin, and Natalya Orlova, a member of the Commonwealth
of Artists of Russia, teacher at Children�s Art School #1 in St. Petersburg, whose professional experience amounts to 37 years.



Everyday conversazioni, concerts of the masters, students� answers at the finals gave the Summer Art School life remarkable richness and uniqueness. Children who practiced various forms of art acquired a possibility to get acquainted with their peers who specialized in something different. This is how composers met writers and musicians met painters. This is how new compositions emerged and were performed right there.
